We feel that this is the minimum vet care that each family should maintain with their family dog. If the dog you are applying for is unavailable, we will do our best to make recommendations however the fee will not be reimbursed. Also, the application states that if you are not prepared for adoption at the time you apply, please wait to apply until you are ready to bring the dog into your home.

On top of these services we have often taken in sick, special needs and injured dogs that require expensive/extensive treatments(c-sections, amputations, infections, lacerations, mass removals, heartworm treatments, hospitalization, MRI’s etc..). We're always available to answer any questions, make training recommendations, and assist you in providing a home to your new dog! Applications that are qualified to be a good fit for a particular pet are subject to a home visit by authorized representatives of Coco's Heart Dog Rescue. For the past 16 years, PetRescue has helped in creating true social change in pet adoption, but what still keeps us up at night? Coco's Heart will adopt animals to adults (must be 18 or older) who demonstrate they are responsible individuals and can provide adequate assurances that they intend to provide proper care for an animal's entire life. The rescue operates with the help of hundreds of dedicated volunteers, all working toward the common goal of saving the lives of dogs in need, and giving them the love they deserve.
Is your home and yard free of any possible dangers? We are based out of the Twin Cities area, where all of our dogs live in approved foster homes before going to their forever homes. We rely solely on volunteers and donations to support our rescue effort. A note from the foster: More Info to come.
